If you were travelling this weekend, you may have noticed the roadsides were a bit busier than normal. I passed a couple locations where people were dressed in high vis attire collecting trash along the roadside. That is certainly one way to make the world a better looking spot, getting rid of litter. There is nothing more frustrating than going for a drive or a walk to take in the great outdoors, only to find garbage laying around to distract you from nature’s beauty.
Aside from keeping our planet visibly clean, there is a deeper concern mentioned when it comes to Earth Day 2024 and that would be the quality of the air surrounding our beautiful planet. Climate change is mentioned in most articles about today. It might seem hopeless when you think of how big the problems are facing Earth, but there are some suggested smaller changes for everyone to make. Though the resulting change from one of us making adjustments to our lifestyle might be unnoticed looking at the big picture, if we all adjust our lifestyle things can change.
