SHAID Tree Animal Shelter is very excited about their 2nd annual online auction and would like to start off by thanking the many bushiness and local small businesses for all the kind and thoughtful donations that were provided for the first online auction; they were able to bring in over $3,000!

In 2023, SHAID took in 492 cats and kittens and 32 dogs. All animals are vet-checked, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for worms, fleas, and other parasites, and microchipped. Cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.
One of the biggest annual expenses is veterinary services and supplies. In 2023, 499 surgeries took place– mostly for spays and neuters, but also for other life-saving emergency surgeries, and medical expenses surpassed $115,000!
