Random items always make me smile and sometimes they make me wonder, really hard HTH. (How The Heck??)
This past weekend the passing of Suzanne Somers got me thinking about one of the most random things I remember seeing on the road to the old farm. That area is notorious for people dumping garbage along the road and in the nearby woods. So a TV or a washer, tires or the odd hot water tank is a common sight. It is sickening that people would rather drive to the woods to litter than drive to the dump to depose of their garbage often for free, but that is one of those things I will never understand. This summer the most random thing that made me laugh was the Thighmaster that was perched on the tree stump. Where is the deer that was using that, or was the resident bear working out?
It is comical the things you see as you drive around, if you are looking for them. I remember when I went to college there was a pair of sneakers hanging from an overhead wire on the end of Mee Road in Kentville. Every time I walked by I wondered what the story was that led to those hanging there.
The one random item that baffles me even more than the sneakers and the staged Thighmaster in the woods, that would be the barber hair clippers that are hanging on the overhead wire that runs along side of the old green bridge on the Veinot Road in Pinehurst. I dunno how you could even try to explain the why in that situation.
With the holidays just around the corner, if you are looking for items that will make people wonder and most likely get some laughs, here are some options. Hahaha

Then there is the story of the message in a bottle that travelled for 27 years and was just found. Tossed in the water from Newfoundland, it was just discovered in Scotland.
27 years later, a message in bottle has connected a Newfoundlander with man from Scotland
A few neat things to cause wonder on this Tuesday.
