I don’t think I am exaggerating if I say that summer 2023 was just a season of disappointment. Now I say that knowing there are many others that have a lot more to complain about. The victims of floods and fire still trying to get life back to normal, I can’t even imagine. But aside from those tragic events, most of us have stories about cancelled plans, missed hiking and beach trips and soggy vacations.
Now it looks like Lee could cause us to pack up summer activities even earlier than some of us may have planned to. I know the expectation is that Lee will become a Tropical Storm when it makes landfall, but regardless of the title, it will be windy and wet. I was hoping we would still get some nice weather this fall…
I don’t want to take down the trampoline, but the recommendations are that I need to… and I also should brush up on my CPR skills according to the preparedness To Do list from the American Red Cross, haha.
Here are the recommendations from the Canadian Red Cross. Take a look, they may have something listed here that you didn’t think about.
