I announced them as they drove through the Grand Street Parade at the Big Ex last week, but I have to admit I did not know much about them.

Lunenburg County Wheels have expanded their coverage area and the best part, It’s FREE to try in the new coverage areas.

Serving inland as far as Parkdale, Meisners Section, Colpton and Chelsea;  AND from Martin’s River to Dainsville.
The service area does NOT currently include the Towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay as well as Riverport.  (see reddish brown area of the map)

Yes LC Wheels is an expansion of the familiar Senior Wheels program, but this is for everyone!
Who Can Use these Services… Anyone of any age within the current Service Areas (all rides must originate and end within these Service Areas) .
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult; passengers 12-14 require parental consent to ride unattended.

As gas and diesel prices are approaching $2 per litre LC Wheels might be the perfect solution for getting where you need to go.  Especially if you live in the new expanded area during this FREE trial period.
