Remember that time we decided to get rid of the penny?!
Turns out quite a few Canadians are not a fan of coins in general. A study from research.co shows that 40% of Canadians would be ok with getting rid of the Nickel.

I very rarely use cash money anymore. So to be completely honest, it wouldn’t make much of a difference for me. I would like to keep a couple nickels stored away though…that way I could show future generations the 5 cent coin.
