It’s not really a secret that I am not a huge heights fan. From the days of the Country 100.7 Turkey Drop and long before, I shake when high up. However I have always tried to test that fear, mainly because things need to be done. So painting, shoveling snow build up off the roof, those jobs get done.
Experts say that one way to conquer a fear is to expose yourself to it. In this case “acrophobia” (AKA a fear of heights), here are a few steps to taking that fear down.
How to Overcome a Fear of Heights
So I have stepped on the glass floor at the CN Tower, but when the crane operator at the new Cookville build site said he wanted food delivered to the top, well this is the first thing that came to mind.
Well last week’s Wednesday Chowdown from Arby’s in Bridgewater was delivered to 20-20 Forming and the crane operator Ryan got his wish. It was a breezy day to say the least and things were moving, but wow, what an office to work in daily.
The view is just incredible! Looking over a field we used to run through when I was a kid hanging out at Cook’s farm, looks a lot different that high up!
Thanks for a great experience 20-20 Forming and also thanks to Arby’s in Bridgewater for the Country 100.7 Wednesday Chowdown.
