A South Shore athlete has been honoured for his excellence in rowing.
Todd Hallett was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
The 51-year old native of Shelburne represented Canada at the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympic Games.
He competed in the Pan Am games several times, winning a bronze medal in 1991.
Hallett also brought home silver in the Commonwealth Rowing Championships in 1994, and represented Canada five times at the World Rowing Championships.
Hallett is now a teacher who resides in Victoria, B.C.
