The first day of spring is only days away but winter isn’t ready to give up its firm grip just yet.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of Nova Scotia on Friday.
The national forecaster is predicting significant snowfall with up to 15 centimetres expected in most areas.
The system will bring rain to start before switching over to snow early Friday morning.
The highest snowfall amounts are expected in the eastern part of the province.
