It’s a tradition that’s been going for 130 years and counting.
The Queens County Fair in Caledonia opens today.
The highlight of the show includes livestock events featuring horses and oxen.
Musical entertainment, along with a parade, circus and hypnotist also highlight the week’s agenda.
Firefighters from Lunenburg, Queens and Annapolis who helped limit the spread of significant wildfires this summer will be recognized during this year’s fair parade.
It will be held Wednesday afternoon.
The fair runs until Saturday.
