The MP for South Shore – St. Margaret’s was a feeling a bit nervous.
However, Bernadette Jordan delivered her inaugural speech today at the House of Commons in Ottawa.
It focused on the outmigration of youth and the difficulty of attracting new people to the community.
She also spoke about health-care, the environment and the economy.
Jordan also took time to thank her family for her support and former MP Gerald Keddy for his 17 years of service to the riding.
