A week after the attacks on Paris a group in Mahone Bay gathered to show their support.
Around 50 people came together on Friday to stand for peace in the face of violence.
Organizer, Pat Joudrey, says she’s pleased with how it turned out.
“It’s a little out of my element,” she says, “even pushing myself to do this, but, I just felt compelled.”
She says some of those who came have decided to take it one step further.
They’re hoping to help a Syrian family make a home on the South Shore.
