A Cumberland County man is facing multiple child pornography charges.
RCMP say multijurisdictional investigations began in September 2023 after reports that he met with a youth for sexual purposes in the United States and returned with child pornography on his devices.
Over the past year, RCMP executed a number of searches and seized electronics at the 26-year-old Springhill man’s home.
Police say he was initially arrested in March but violated release conditions twice – prompting a joint investigation with Homeland Security.
Investigators arrested him again on December 11th at his home. He’s in custody and due in Amherst Provincial Court on January 28th.
