Bridgewater is introducing free parking and transit services throughout December as part of the annual Bridgewater Shines Festive Season, aiming to support local businesses and encourage residents to shop and explore the downtown area.
Starting December 2, metered curbside parking and spaces in town-operated lots are free for the entire month. Restrictions for accessible parking and permit-only spaces remain in effect.
In addition, Bridgewater Transit is offering free service every Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas, thanks to a partnership with the East Coast Credit Union.
The free transit began November 30 and continues through the holiday season.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of these initiatives to enjoy local events, visit with loved ones, and shop within the community.
