Police are investigating after human remains were found near Long Lake Provincial Park, near where a kayaker went missing about two weeks ago.
They have not identified the remains, but police say they received the report Tuesday around 1 p.m., on the 0-100 block of Old Sambro Road.
There is currently no evidence of foul play.
Twenty-six-year-old Jashansdeep Kaur was reported missing August 18 after going kayaking.
Reports say her life jacket, kayak and cell phone were found.
After a large, three-day search, police stopped looking and treated the investigation as a missing person case.
