There has been a huge focus on developing AI and I don’t see that slowing anytime soon. Is this a good thing? For those of us in the farming community I should clarify, in this case AI refers to Artificial Intelligence and has nothing to do with breeding livestock.
It seems Elvis is very much in demand in the AI world. Maybe that is because even without being seen or heard from for over four decades, he was still the second highest paid dead celebrity in 2023, second only to Michael Jackson. Over the holidays Kane Brown was joined by the late King of Rock n Roll for a new version of Blue Christmas, so this idea should not surprise me. There are plans in place for Elvis to perform a concert this year in Europe.
Elvis Evolution will open in London in November later this year before moving to Las Vegas, Berlin and Tokyo.
Elvis Presley to be brought back to life with AI immersive show in London
Look out Thane Dunn! But that said, would you rather pay to go to what is essentially a computer game on stage, or is it better to watch a performer present a show that all but brings the superstar to life.
Not going to lie, AI is something that crosses my mind. There doesn’t seem to be any rules around the use of this technology, so anyone that ever left a phone message could potentially be recreated and that doesn’t seem right. You thought it was hard to determine what was real before, this could take it to a whole new level, but that is just one way to look at it.
In another light, AI could make dreams come true. Imagine a “conversation” with a passed relative, or a sing-along with Stan Rogers. Maybe a get some driving lessons from James Dean… that might not be the best idea, but you see what I mean.
I dunno how far this stuff will go but for now, are you going to save up to see an AI show with the King?
I think I will sit this one out and catch Thane the next time he is in town.
Here is the AI Abba show that has been filling venues, just to give you an idea of what these shows can be like.
