Waking up this morning to white roofs and fogged up / frosty windshields. It’s a sure sign that fall is here and winter could hit whenever it feels like it.
We are past the frost warnings now and it is every plant for itself. Last night was a chilly one and more than likely there was a frost where you live. If not, it is soon on the way.
I realized on my drive in this morning that the garden hose is still out and connected, so that is on my to do list for this afternoon, even though it looks like nights will be warmer for the rest of the week now.
There are a number of things for gardeners to think about with frost. One thing is that certain plants cannot handle frost and that said, I am really glad I picked the few beans that had grown over the weekend. It might be a bit too late, but maybe you covered this list and didn’t even know it.
