Well this was a busy weekend. Trying to fit in all the rained out activities that were missed over the summer.
Aside from trying to make hay a couple months late, we took a trip to Mahone Bay to check out the Scarecrow Festival.
It is a great walk through town looking at the displays. You will see any fairy tale character you can think of, the stars are there as well from Elvis to the newly crowned King Charles.
My favorite was the Mountie moose and the boys joined in on a poker game for apples.
The Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival runs until Monday, October 9th so take some time to check it out.
Once that wraps up, then the Pumpkin People will be the next display to catch in Kentville.
