The best high school hockey players in Western Nova Scotia are coming to Yarmouth Sunday.
The Par-en-Bas Sharks are hosting the Valley High School Hockey League Boys All-Star Game at Mariners Centre.
Sharks Head Coach Julien Boudreau says all 13 teams will send three players.
“The top three teams from each side will send one goalie that will play a period each. It’s just a showcase of the best players in the league, and we’re proud to do it at home in front of our fans,” says Boudreau.
The West team features Tri-County teams from Par-en-Bas, Yarmouth High, Digby, Barrington and Clare.
The Eastern side will have players from teams like Parkview, Avon View, Horton and more.
Boudreau says it will be a show.
“Most of these guys have never talked to each other before, but when they get on the ice, within no time they start gelling with the skill they have. It’s a great game to watch.”
The game starts at 4 p.m. and is free to attend.
