Classes are back on today at Barrington Municipal High School.
They were cancelled yesterday, as RCMP continued to investigate the source of an online threat.
A student received a social media message on Tuesday morning that there would be a shooting at the school at a later date.
Police responded, and the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education asked students to stay home yesterday.
Through the investigation, RCMP have determined that the threat originated from another country and was a hoax intended to cause panic.
Officers will be on scene at the school today to reassure students and staff that they are safe.
