Back after a few days off to deliver and enjoy Riverfest 2022 with a great bunch of folks. It was a fantastic time for sure at Fox Mountain Camping Park. Those that were not there, too bad you missed it.
Speaking of missing things, have you ever kicked your own butt because of a missed opportunity for a once in a lifetime picture? Or worse yet, witnessed something that you know is pretty unbelievable and have no picture proof that it happened? That is exactly what happened to me and I know no one will believe me.
After wrapping things up at Riverfest, I had a bit of hay to tend to before going to another planned event. It was a warm day and as I was turning the hay, I noticed the wind picked up a bit. Now here is where you will say, what was he drinking…. A bit of a whirlwind started. Now that is nothing uncommon on a hot day in certain fields. But this one grew!! Not a cloud in the sky, but this tornado looking wind cleared about a 15 foot path across the field and took the hay up in the trees, above the power lines and a lot of it ended up on the paved road. So anyone that drove through Northfield Sunday afternoon and noticed a lot of hay on the road, it wasn’t my fault honest.
I was in awe, and never got a picture. Now no one will ever believe me. Here are a few once in a lifetime photos that were caught in time.
Photos of Things That Will Only Happen Once in a Lifetime
I do feel a bit better when I read that the experts suggest it is best to not take too many pictures and rather experience the moment. I am glad I did in this case, but at the same time, I wish I could share the experience with those that I know will not believe me, haha. I know I would not believe me if I had not caught it with my own eyes, lol.
To Remember The Moment, Try Taking Fewer Photos
I have often heard that more pictures are taken daily than existed in the world less than a hundred years ago. Just take a look at how many pics are snapped around the world.
