A man has been charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of Peter Anthony (Tony) Walsh in 2019.
Walsh left a Crowes Mill, Colchester County home on August 23rd, 2019. He was last heard from at 1:20 p.m. that day.
His car was later found at a business parking lot in Truro.
His family released a video that Christmas pleading for information on his whereabouts.
Police later announced his disappearance was being investigated as a homicide and continued to follow up on tips.
A 56-year-old Londonderry man was arrested last Thursday and police also found human remains in the area believed to be those of Walsh.
John Alfred Cook has been remanded into custody and will appear in Truro Provincial Court in August.
