The Town of Lunenburg is seeking volunteers for a special anti-racism committee.
The town is currently seeking someone with knowledge or expertise in African Nova Scotian or Indigenous affairs. They’re also looking for two other volunteers: a representative from each of those two communities.
Members will meet once a month — or as needed; it’s not necessary that applicants live in town boundaries.
The committee will represent the town on the western regional housing authority.
Applications can be picked up from the town office. Completed forms need to be returned by Jan. 19, 2022.
