Lands and Forestry is still working to contain a double forest fire in Barrington.
The larger fire, which reached 100 hectares in size, has now been 50% contained and is not expected to grow. The smaller fire is being held.
20 members of the Lands and Forestry fire crew are on site, as well as one helicopter.
There has reportedly been no damage to the three structures that were at risk in the area.
The fires were reported near highway 103 in Barrington. They were first detected on Wednesday around 12:30 p.m.
The public is asked to avoid the area now and after the fire is out due to the possibility of weakened and falling trees.
