A group of students from a local French school took the time to spread some Holiday cheer to those in need.
Mme. Véronique’s class from Centre Scolaire de la Rive-Sud organized a food drive to collect food for the Bridgewater Inter-Church Food Bank.
This was the second year the event was held by the school, which saw students eagerly prepare posters to share info on
daily themes and details of the food drive with other students, parents and friends.
This year’s food drive was largely successful for the group, who collected 4500 items for the food bank.
Students and staff packed three SUVs and a minivan full of food, and delivered their donation to the food bank Wednesday.
