An Auburndale soccer player is one of nearly 30 athletes and coaches from the South Shore heading to the Canada Summer Games.
Cameron Zinn will head to Winnipeg, Manitoba from July 28 to August 13 as part of the Bluenose team of over 400 members.
The 17 year-old defender has been preparing for roughly two years against the best players in the province.
"It's great. It pushes me pretty hard because they're all top notch athletes. It gets me out of my comfort level."
Zinn says he's a bit nervous ahead of the competition but he'll be ready to play once he arrives in Winnipeg.
He says he's proud to represent the South Shore at the games.
