There have been lots of star sightings in the Yarmouth area since filing began for the horror movie 'The Lighthouse'.

Both actors Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson have been spotted at different restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores with fans posting photos on social media.

Traffic has been steady leading to the Cape Forchu Lightstation and Leif Ericson Park where filming is taking place.

Motorists can only go as far as the Lobster Pound Road.

Rosanna Stoddard of Mackenzie Security says the barricade was put in place for safety reasons.

"As ar as I know we're going to be making changes towards the end of this month and we'll be moving back the barricade to where it was. Right now there's a lot of traffic with 18 wheelers and other vehicles."

Stoddard expects the barricade will be set up closer to the site as it was before filming began.
