A public information session is coming up to discuss Carters Beach and Spectacle Island.
Nova Scotia's Department of Environment and the Region of Queens Municipality are co-hosting the meeting.
It will discuss cultural and ecological protection, recreation and tourism enhancement and the role of the community.
A presentation will be held followed by break sessions for the public to speak with staff.
Information will also be provided on dune restoration, piping plovers, installing basic washrooms, waste management and parking challenges.
Various other topics will be outlined including public access to Spectacle Island Lighthouse and protecting sensitive areas.
The meeting will be held July 25 from 6-8pm at the West Queens Recreation Centre in Port Mouton.
